Below is a list of the villages (or Local Council areas) which we have identified in Malta. The country Malta is actually composed of 3 inhabited islands, and a couple of smaller uninhabited ones. The main island is also called Malta, its smaller sister island is called Gozo, and the third is a very small island called Comino.
Click on any underlined name to be taken to a separate page with further details about that village. If you would like to buy a book on Malta or your village of interest, just contact us and we would be happy to recommend suitable titles.
Priority Villages We have identified 17 villages as being high-priority - that is, we are making an affort for them to be adopted first. These tend to be large villages, possibly with active ministries already taking place. Of course you can adopt any village, but we suggest that you first have a look at our High Priority villages (marked in this colour).
Currently we have information on this site for all the priority villages, and we are slowly adding information on the other villages too.
